The 43rd Annual General Meeting and the 485th Meeting of Henley Probus Club was held at Badgemore Park on May 9, 2023.
The Chairman circulated his annual report and emphasised that, as we move forward, a key issue for the incoming Chairman and his committee. would be to fill the vacant positions of Vice Chairman and Events Secretary.
The President presented his report for the past year and announced that the President for the forthcoming year would be Julian Pearce and the Chairman would be Peter Stone.
The Treasurer then presented the general Accounts, including recommendations for distribution of the Charity fund, which was approved unanimously by the members. Further reports were presented by the Membership, Events and Friendship Secretaries.
There followed a short presentation on the new website for Henley Probus Club which can be accessed on http://henleymensprobus.org.uk.
Two new members to the Club (George Brown and Peter Boardley) were then invited to provide a history of their backgrounds prior to joining the Club.
